It’s hard to put into words just how fantastic Ruth was as our celebrant.
We were very last minute with organising a celebrant for our wedding and only gave Ruth 10 weeks to put together our ceremony, but what she delivered absolutely blew us away. Ruth’s attention to detail could not be faulted and she created the most perfect ceremony. Our guests were blown away by Ruth’s beautiful words and how personal our ceremony was (with some commenting that we must have known her for years).

Her kind presence is just lovely and you feel so comfortable to share your journey with her. All we can say is WOW! Having Ruth as our celebrant for our June wedding was truly the best decision we ever made. The ceremony was without a doubt, our favourite part of the entire day. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and heartfelt it was and we even had people tell us it was the best ceremony they’ve ever been to, and they’re still talking about it to this day.

Ruth went above and beyond in every possible way. She took the time to really get to know us, visited our venue in advance, gave us thoughtful and creative ideas, and even wore an outfit that matched our colour scheme! The ceremony she created was the perfect balance of heartfelt and humorous, everything we could have wished for and more.

As a special touch, Ruth also gifted us a beautiful keepsake box with our ceremony scripts and love letters, which we’ll treasure forever.

Ruth was the celebrant for our wedding and her kindness, warmth and beautiful story telling are still at the front of our minds! From the start Ruth showed us that she just loves love and that shone through our whole time with her.

We loved sharing our story with her and she brought it to life at our ceremony so beautifully. She captured in such a special way. She helped us with our vows as well as choosing a reading to include. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and somehow read between the lines of some of our chaos and pulled it all together! So many of our friends and family commented on how intimate and unique the ceremony was and gave compliments to Ruth. She was also able to guide us with our music cues and even came to the rescue with tissues when my tears came during the vows!

From the moment we met Ruth, we knew that we wanted her to be our celebrant. We didn’t know a huge amount of what having a celebrant would entail, but she explained the process really well and helped us think of different ideas that we could incorporate into our day to make it feel more like us. She helped us write our vows, taking words that we provided to her in a questionnaire, so that they were personal to us. On the day she was a very calming influence, especially for my husband as she spent more time with the boys as the girls were getting ready. She created the most beautiful ceremony – We had so many compliments on the ceremony itself and that is all down to Ruth and the beautiful words she put together. If you’re in doubt of whether to have a celebrant for your wedding speak to Ruth. We honestly couldn’t recommend her enough and she made our day so special.
