A Ceremony lead with warmth, reflecting the life of the person you wish to celebrate and the memories you cherish by Ruth Lee

Welcome!

I am Ruth.

In 2017 I said goodbye to the man I had loved for my whole life. I never thought I would ever have the courage or the right words to do his life, his love for me and my love for him justice, but somehow I managed it. And it was an independent funeral celebrant that helped me to do it. At a time when my family were feeling sad and exhausted our funeral celebrant walked into my kitchen, took quiet control of the situation and helped us create a ceremony and write eulogies that did justice to my Dad. Nothing was too silly or to serious, it was just us honouring him and our memory of him. That’s why I chose to become a funeral celebrant and that’s why I know being chosen by you to do this for you is an honour.

About me

When you choose me to create the ceremony for your loved one I will meet with you and your family members to listen to your stories and help to shape the ceremony you want, reflecting the person you have lost and your love for them. Everyone is unique, our memories of people we love are unique to us. My ceremony will reflect that individual and how they and you wish to be remembered. I will guide you through what to say, when to say it and shape all the special unique elements you wish to include that reflect your loved one and the way you wish to honour and remember them.

I am a very sentimental person...

and I have a deep sense of what family means. I treasure the memories I have and whether it’s a Birthday card or a With Sympathy card I always like to reflect something about the person I am writing too or about that is special to me. Whether it’s a funny story or a way they made me feel. It has been said that you don’t always remember what someone did but you will always remember they way they made you feel. I hope the ceremony I create for you to celebrate the life of the loved one you have lost will make you feel everything you hoped for.
